  1. Importing Instructions
  2. Audiofile 1.x ---> Audiofile 2.0
  3.  
  4. If you are a registered user, importing from Audiofile 1.x to Audiofile 2.0
  5. is very simple.  You MUST be a registered user of Audiofile in order to
  6. import your records.
  7.  
  8. 1.  Make a backup of your Audiofile 1.x database!
  9. 2.  Open Audiofile 2.x and pull down the "File > Import/Export > Import Records" menu
  10. 3.  Locate and select your Audiofile 1.x database when you are prompted to
  11.     locate the file you'd like to import *from*
  12. 3a. Since Audiofile 2.x requires FileMaker Pro 3.0, you will be asked if you want to
  13.     convert your old copy of Audiofile 1.21 to FileMaker Pro 3.0 format.  Click OK
  14. 4.  After the conversion is complete, FileMaker Pro will match up the 1.x fields with
  15.     the 2.x fields
  16. 5.  Click on the radio button in the lower left hand corner of the screen that says
  17.     "Replace Data in Current Found Set"
  18. 6.  Click OK
  19.  
  20. That's it!
  21. All of your old data from Audiofile 1.x will be transfered to Audiofile 2.x.
